"Merging Generations with Emerging Technologies” This year’s theme is focused on technology, artificial intelligence and how these are disrupting the healthcare industry and taking it to the next level. Since 2010, the Tampa Bay chapters of the American Institute of Architects – Academy of Architecture for Health committee (AIA-AAH) and the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) have held a Healthcare Symposium in Tampa. The event promotes a gathering of local, regional and national health system providers, policy leaders, researchers and futurists to support the educational and networking advancement of healthcare design, construction, and allied industry professionals.
Past event topics have focused on healthcare policy, healthcare facility design/research, population health initiatives, lean principles, technology impacting the patient experience, the Well Building movement and the future of medical education in the Tampa Bay region.
