Architectural Registration Exam
Candidates need to pass all sections of the architectural registration exam. Information on the sections of the ARE can be found on the NCARB website. AIA Tampa Bay offers resources to prepare for the exams including:
Study Materials Library
The chapter maintains a study materials library at The Center for Architecture and Design. AIA members may check out study materials for 2 weeks at a time. Contact the chapter office to arrange a time to review and pick up materials from the library. We require a copy of your driver's license and a valid credit card as collateral for the materials. ARE Prep Classes
The chapter offers classes to help candidates prepare for the various sections of the ARE. AIA Tampa Bay offers Black Spectacles (ARE Prep Program + Weekly Meetings for 10 weeks) 2 sessions per year, Fall and Spring. For more info contact Eli@aiatampabay.com
